✅ Tours are go for launch!
📍 Meeting Location:
951 Kiwanis Island Park Rd, Merritt Island, FL 32952
Parking Instructions 🅿️
Please park next to the tennis courts or in the large lot behind the picnic pavilion.
How to Find Us
Multiple tour operators run out of Kiwanis Island Park. Look for our wooden trailer—it will be connected to a red Nissan Frontier.
Note: There is no company logo on the trailer or vehicle due to regulations.
A map is available showing parking and our typical launch areas.
Our trailer is distinct and hard to miss!
For Second Tour Guests ⌛
If you arrive and we’re not at the launch site, we’re likely still on the water with the previous group.
📵 We are a small operation and will not be able to answer phone calls while on the water.
⏳ We work hard to keep tours on time, your time is valuable, and we want you to get the maximum time on the water.
➡️ While we strive to keep everything running smoothly, occasional delays may occur due to weather conditions or paddlers' abilities. These situations are rare, but we ask that you be ready at the launch site at your scheduled time. If there is any delay, it will not shorten your time on the water—you’ll still get the full experience.
Timing is Everything 🕗
Due to an increase in late arrivals, we want to kindly stress that our tours have a hard start at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
👉 If you arrive late or do not show, no refunds or reschedules will be provided.
👉 We are in our busy season and often have waitlists due to our small group sizes and the extra perks we provide—this is the one area where we have zero flexibility.
⏰ We also want to emphasize that late arrivals are not fair to those who arrive on time. Out of respect for your fellow paddlers, we ask that you plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. This will give you plenty of time to find us, check in, and get settled—especially for the later tour when the park is dark and can be harder to navigate.
🚨 Important: There are multiple tour companies operating out of this location. We are separate businesses. You are booked with A Paddle in Paradise—please be sure you check in with the correct group, checking in with the wrong group may cause you to miss your launch time and no refunds or reschedules will be provided.
Additional Notes
🦟 Bug repellent is available on the trailer—please help yourself if needed.
🎒 Be prepared and dress for the weather!
A Final Note from Your Guide
I’m genuinely so excited to have you out on the water! 🌊✨ The lagoon is pure magic, and seeing the bioluminescence is something most people will only experience once in a lifetime.
As your guide, it’s my job to take you to some of the best spots for bioluminescence we have out here. There’s a natural ebb and flow to it—some nights we paddle a little farther, some nights the glow is right near the launch. Levels can shift based on weather, moonlight, and water conditions, no tour is ever exactlky the same, but one thing is always true:
👉 It’s always a good time on the water.
I like to give you freedom at certain points to spread out, float, and do your own thing. (conditions permitting) At other times, we’ll move together as a group to explore. I run things a little differently than your average tour outfit, and I’m excited to share that vibe with you.
I also schedule larger blocks of time to make sure you never feel rushed. Honestly, I’ve never liked being rushed myself, and I don’t believe in rushing other people either. Turnarounds at the launch can be quick, but once we’re on the water, we shift into “Manatee Time”—we slow down, take it all in, and let the night unfold naturally.
My goal is simple: I want you to feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of every step of the way. This is more than just a tour—it’s an unforgettable adventure, and I’m truly honored to share it with you.
If you need anything or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to help.
Get ready for an incredible night. I can’t wait to meet you out there! 🚀💙
Stay adventurous,
– Nate
